Nextcloud 35.0.2 is Current Stable Release
Nextcloud's latest stable release, version 35.0.2, is available as of October 2026, and users are advised to upgrade to maintain security.
Nextcloud 35.0.2 is the current stable release, bundled with collaborative apps in Nextcloud Hub 10, and will be supported until September 2027. Users can check their version through the web UI, command line, or database query, and must upgrade in a step-by-step fashion to avoid issues.
Versions 32 and earlier are past their end-of-life, and version 33 will expire in February 2027, requiring users to upgrade within three months. Upgrades must follow a sequential path (33 -> 34 -> 35) due to database schema changes and compatibility updates.
To ensure security, users should back up their data and upgrade incrementally, checking for the latest minor version before each major version upgrade. Nextcloud employs a staged rollout, releasing updates to 20% of users weekly to ensure stability.
