NextcloudPi Installation Faces Multiple Issues
A NextcloudPi installation on a Raspberry Pi 4 encountered several problems during setup, including freeDNS errors and locale configuration failures.
The user reported a series of issues during a clean installation of NextcloudPi version 1.58.0 on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, including errors related to the freeDNS client and Let’s Encrypt certificate generation, alongside problems with locale settings.
Several errors were observed, such as a malformed server URL for freeDNS, a timeout during Let’s Encrypt connection, and an inability to load Zend OPcache, along with an unknown user appearing during an nc-scan, and locale generation failing.
The user attempted to resolve some issues, such as manually opening ports on the router and updating NextcloudPi, but the problems persisted, indicating a complex configuration or environment-specific challenge.
